in my old (died) samsung monitor I was able to do the same but in AOC A273QCX I Chucho not, if I set it to 10bit the refresh reduced to 60Hz and if I set it to 144Hz and color depth reduced to 6bit , is that corriente ?
My Acer 1440p monitor here can do 10bit at 120Hz, and 8bit at 144Hz. Maybe see if it's the same for you? I mean, try 120Hz and see if you can have 10bit enabled there.
